Every year, the meat industry produces far more cow hides than the leather industry can use, around 2.6 million hides went straight to U.S. landfills in 2019 alone. That's why we choose genuine leather.
It's a byproduct already created by another industry, not a new material pulled from petroleum.
Real leather doesn't ask the planet for more. It simply makes use of what already exists.
